located just north of downtown in the heart of the nait campus, we're an old school bowling alley with a few MODERn bells & whistles.
We believe that bowling should be enjoyed with great people, good music and perhaps a tasty beverage in hand. Whether it's throwing a few games with friends, some strikes (or gutter balls) with family, a large group outing, or a weekly bowling league, we aim to create an ideal social space for an evening or afternoon get together.
Pins & Pints
Beer is delicious. Bowling is fun. Combining the two is right up our alley. We love a well brewed beer almost as much as we love throwing a turkey (that's bowling talk for rolling three strikes in a row). Our taps are always pouring tasty offerings like hoppy IPAs, fruity saisons and crisp lagers. Not into craft beer? No worries. Our bottle cooler is stocked with domestics, cider, coolers and non-boozy bevies. Not into turkeys? That's ok too. You'd just better be ready to have a good time.
The game of five-pin bowling was invented in 1909 at Toronto Bowling Club in response to customer feedback that ten-pin was too strenuous; the game is played only in Canada.
We offer 16 five-pin wood lanes - they are the original lanes that were installed in 1959.
Rolling since 1959
We're a 3rd generation family owned business. Lawrence Stride opened our doors in 1959 and established a gathering spot where people could socialize and master the art of five-pin bowling. Lawrence's son, Terry took over this Edmonton mainstay in '77 and kept the good times rolling for 39 years until he decided it was time to trade his bowling shoes for a cold pint and a warm patio. Terry has now passed the ball to his son, Trevor who'll continue the tradition of providing people with a great place to get social.
We take reservations, both large and small. We have 16 lanes and 12,000 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 100 bowlers. Reservations are always recommended. Book online or send us an email or give us a shout to confirm lane availability.
We take online bookings up to 3 lanes in size which accommodates 18 people (6 people per lane). For bookings larger than 18 people, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or 780-477-7848.
We'd love to have you down for your next team building event, birthday party, fundraising challenge or any other reason you have for bringing good people together. We're pretty great at hosting awesome parties and we'll take care of the details (and cleanup) so that you can focus on celebrating.
We're flexible when it comes to booking and and offer rates by the hour or per person. For food, we can connect you with some of our great partners for catering. You'll also have the option of using our separate party room, which has space for around 20 people if you're looking for more privacy.
Give us a call and we'll help figure out your needs and ensure you're set up for a great time!
